Our story

Shabbat With Friends started with a simple idea: too many people find themselves without somewhere to go for Shabbat, while others have room for one more at their table.

What began as a dinner bringing friends and strangers together in a Tel Aviv apartment is growing into a community where more people can share Shabbat together.

Every member joins through someone in the community or through an application an admin has read. Every host decides who they welcome. Guests never pay for a seat.

There is always room at the table.
